Yesterday, Metro Boomin got on Twitter and said other artists shouldn’t try to emulate his boy Future by putting out a bunch of mixtapes. Instead, Boomin recommended taking “all the hardest songs from the 5 tapes you plan on dropping, and make 1 tape full of fire.”
While that may have seemed like a piece of general advice, Young Thug took at as a slight directed at him. And why shoulnd’t he: Thugger puts out a lot of tapes and worked with Boomin on the Metro Thuggin project, which dropped in May.
Thug struck back at Boomin on Twitter, and seemed to drag Future into it, too:
