Chicago rapper King Yella was the first to remix the notorious Slim Jesus track ‘Drill Time,” and was advising the Ohio emcee right about when he went viral.
According to Yella, Birdman was among those who came calling about the white rapper who freely concedes he ain’t about that life.
However, Slim wasn’t having any of it.
“Birdman wanted him on the phone,” King Yella told Vlad TV. “Thirsty for him. Slim Jesus hung up on the man in his face. Birdman tried to fly us out to L.A. [too].”
